We are on the Credit team and our key accountabilities include: develop long-term customer relationships, minimize credit losses and protect working capital. We're looking for a Senior Credit Analyst; this position will help assess the creditworthiness of new clients and manage risk across our existing portfolio by designing more efficient processes, timely data reporting, and analytics. This individual will be responsible for analyzing credit bureau reports, financial information, and customers’ payment history to make sound business judgments. The day-to-day responsibilities will also include supporting the Director Credit, Senior Director Finance & Business Operations Europe and having the opportunity to work cross-functionally with different teams across the organization (Sales, Ops, Legal and Customs).

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in several key projects related to credit risk processes, collection and liquidity management.

  • Assist with day-to-day credit risk decisions ensuring compliance with the internal controls and guidelines.

  • Timely escalation of high risk customers to Director, Credit and other stakeholders.

  • Prepare business cases for extending credit limit and terms for onwarding submission and approval as per the competency levels.

  • You will assist with credit block releases by following the parameters outlined per policy.

  • You will create and maintain internal trackers (e.g. payment plans, credit terms outliers).

  • You will be responsible for periodic account Renewal and closely monitor Credit Limit Excess on a weekly basis.

  • You will proactively monitor AR aging/past due balance and outline appropriate action items to lower our exposure.

  • Coordinating calls with customers for Financial Statements review and negotiating payment plans.

  • Coordinating with a third party insurance company to review decisions and insured accounts from time-to-time.

  • You will also work closely with the collections team and provide support when/if required.

  • You will manage the legal letter process for delinquent accounts.

  • Assist the Director, Credit with documenting our internal policies (Credit, Collections, and Legal policies).

  • Work on project specific requirements as assigned by the management.

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Finance and Credit Risk Function

  • You have a degree in Finance/Accounting and are familiar with financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to interpret data and present to the key stakeholders

  • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Strong Collaboration skills

  • You are proficient G Suite and Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in in Netsuite and SQL/Looker is a plus
